I had my mamogram and the day after I had a phone call. They found something on my armpit area and needed further evaluation. Went back in and after some pictures and an ultrasound I was sent for consultation with a surgeon because the mammogram was not able to detect the atea and can only be seeing by the mammogram machine. I have no pain,, can't be felt on a manual exam but the dr said that is suspicious which I don't understand. His findings read: persistent cluster of heterogeneous calcifications on the legt axillary tail and he put it as category 4 for suspicious abnormality.. Any input??
