So what is the name of this test, and where is it able to be researched? I take it you are not referring to the Onco test, or the mammoprint test?

I asked the same question on the other thread the op started on this topic. Neither Oncotype DX nor Mammoprint are exactly new, so I'm wondering if the op is referring to something else.

Yes, what is new is the publication today of additional results from the TAILORx trial regarding the Oncotype test for invasive breast cancer in certain node-negative patients, with hormone receptor-positive (ER+ and/or PR+), HER2-negative disease:

I think it's referring to people who have intermediate Oncotype scores. This new study says low AND intermediate Oncotype scores can safely skip chemo. Those of us with high oncotypes are still stuck with chemo. :-P

I'm sure BCO will post a news update on this soon and clarify further.

Thank you for posting the links. While the Oncotype DX test is not new, it is interesting to read about a study that deals with those women whose scores fell into the grey area. If this helps them avoid over treatment, that is excellent!
