I had BMX with TE placement March 2017, chemo then radiation August 2017. Right side which was diseased side was radiated. Had exchange surgery with implants Jan 30, 2018. So my left side is significantly lower than right side and dropped down. Right side is higher up and it's so noticeable I can't wear a tight shirt and a bra is useless. My question is which side is screwed up? The left non radiated side which dropped or the right radiated side which is higher? Im clueless. Was the left supposed to stay up or was the right supposed to drop and it hasn't? See my PS in four weeks and will definitely bring it up but was wondering if anyone knows and if I should go in and see him earlier. Thank You!

My non radiated side dropped significantly too. My PS is going to do a revision this summer.

Hello, do you ladies know if it's advisable to do the exchange surgery from expanders to implants before OR after radiation? My plastic surgeon is doing the exchange before radiation but it seems that you both had it done after radiation. What has been your experience?

Molly- it's so weird. It's only been four months and it's so much lower. I was wondering if it was supposed to. I though they'd stay higher. My radiated side is right where I'd like them to be and doesn't seem to be moving anywhere.

Domzie- I always was told radiation should be first and then implants but there are women on here who have had implants and then radiation.
