Oval lump

Hello everyone. I'm new on here and just wanted to ask for some opinions or advice or similar experience? I don't have too much to share but really worried. Yesterday I found an oval lump in my inner lower quadrant of right breast, it's like sort of right under my breast but sort of still in the breast area. It doesn't hurt, doesnt seem to move, but there's like a slight reddish line over the form of that lump. My boyfriend thinks it's a spot but it really doesn't feel like one, and maybe he's just trying to calm me down. I'm currently on a holiday and can't reach my doctor till tomorrow, so I'm here looking for some advice and thoughts.. should I be worried, has anyone had something similar and what it turned out to be? Hope for some answers and thoughts..

Welcome to the BCO community. We are sorry that you are dealing with this change in your breast and the worry that accompanies it. We are also sorry that it has come during a holiday weekend. Uncertainty can be very stressful. On the other hand we urge you not to jump to the most worrisome conclusion. A lump can be many things but any change in your normal breast health should be brought to your doctors's attention and checked out. A definitive answer can offer peace of mind.
