Rib pain during Taxol?

Options

I just had my 7th dose of Taxol. I had a bone scan a fmonth ago because of tail bone pain. My tailbone was clear, but a small area showed "minimal uptake" on my rib. My oncologist said it was a strain and told me less than a 1% chance of it being cancer. Since I've learned that there was a spot on my scan, my rib has felt a little tender and I notice it most with movements or when I lie down on my side. This past week I've also been feeling some momentary pains towards the front and bottom of my rib cage on both sides. Also some tenderness on both sides towards the bottom, plus an area of pain on my pelvis that just twinges occasionally.

I asked the nurse practitioner about it today, thinking (hoping) she would say this is normal. Instead she ordered a scan-- a PET if my insurance will accept it or another CAT scan. Last PET and CT scans were three months ago before chemo.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced pains like this with Taxol? I'm prone to anxiety, so perhaps I'm making a bigger deal of this than I need to? I also have IBS, so perhaps it is related to gas pains?

I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
