Stage IV IBC with metastasis to spinal fluid

Hi all- my loved one was diagnosed with Stage IV IBC, HER2- with metastasis to the pelvis, femer, lung, liver, and skull, this was in January 2018, just 5 months ago. She's 61 years old, otherwise healthy. Just finished her rounds of AC "red devil" chemo and was hospitalized last week for headache and reoccurring neurologic symptoms- today spinal tap was positive for metastasis to spinal fluids.

Now I'm no doctor, but throughout this whole thing we haven't been supported with what to expect, what treatment is, prognosis, etc... I'm feeling lost and frustrated. They are inserting an intrathecal port today to start this treatment immediately. What is the general treatment plan for this? Prognosis?

Any love and support would be great, as I feel we've had very little from her medical team.
