Just copied and edited a this a bit this from the kick butt thread.
How about adding some pratical tips we don't think off.
This is why I frequent the LE threads, great ideas I never would have thought of.
I got a idea from a girl here who uses plastic gloves to handle raw meat. Since she uses plastic gloves she said she stopped getting cellulitis! I never touch raw meat now and it makes cleanup so easy. Just peel off! It's one of my luxury items I hope to be able to afford forever. That and paper towel for quick cleanups! My two saviours.
For public restrooms,if I don't have a plastic glove I tuck my glove under my armpit and keep it closed snuggly till I'm done. Don't want to drop it in the toilet. You could stuff glove in bra/cami. Once I put on counter and forgot after handwashimg and had to rush back panicked into restroom to put back on! Lesson learned. I must keep it on my body somewhere. Also learned lesson from a girl here that left hers in a pit toilet at a marathon and if I remember was never found. We all help each other by being in everyone's back pockets.
Pump gas with one disposable glove. If I don't have any I use cheap doggy bags kept in car. You can't believe how many ladies see me pumping and comment on what a good idea. No more touching that filthy pump handle with garmentthat has been touched by who knows what! Ugh.Gross!
Now biggest lesson. When donning sleeve never look at your sleeve when getting near the top of arm. Many punched noses reported here and even torn retina on one girl occur this way! It's hard not to look!
Use a Slippy which is parachute material to make donning a snap and makes way less face punches.
Just thought of another. I hate flipping spattery oliy stuff in fry pan. The grease lands on glove and sleeve staining it ugly. I'll try cutting off a tighter stretchy old long sleeve then cut a hole for thumb to extend into a gauntlet and slip that over my sleeve to catch grease, or wear my disposable glove, or just try a long dishwashing glove one size bigger to slip on and off quick while flipping and stirring those greasy meals.
Keep ideas flowing girls!
One of famous Binneys tricks. Spray lightly sleeve with water for instant cool on hot day but don't soak continually that wouldn't be good for compromised le skin.
Another of Binneys. Put corn startch in a thin sock toe. Pat on inner elbow before donning sleeve to help with hurtful rubbing, or use anti friction chafe stick as I do. Buy at athletic running store. I also use a thin silicon sheet in inner elbow, the kind you use to reduce scaring. Known as scar tape bought in bandaid department. It can be used over and over.
Kicks keeps old garments for horse barn and yard chores as I do. They get so stinky sweaty and dirty that I'd hate to ruin my new stuff. I keep old one in earthquake kit as we may need to get up and run out in the middle of the night without sleeve.
At a restaurant and want to eat a messy burger but still need hand protection if dining awhile. I carry a cheap gauntlet and use that instead. Could use a old glove to.
Needing to shower but have your sleeve/gloves on. Medical supply shop or ollar store has plastic mitts (for people that have broken arm and wearing casts) that go all the way up to axilla to keep that arm dry. minestays on pretty good. Or go to farming store and get plastic calving gloves and use a loose rubber band at the top to hold up.
Need that sleeve to dry faster then roll up it up in a towel and step on it to absorb water. If your going to wring it be real gentle not to ruin threads in sleeves.
How to refrain from handshake as strong people sometimes squeeze the heck out of your hand. Once mine hurt for 45 minutes afterward. When being introduced even before they put their hand out, beat them to it and take a quick little slight bow with your hand at across your stomach and introduce yourself. Works every time and if you don't overbow people forget about it and just keep talking. Finally found a way to not carry peoples cold/flu/dirtygerms around on my glove!!! Took me much time searching the net for this solution.
Hate getting my new cleaned glove germed and dirty at gym. I take yesterday’s dirty one there for workout and change into clean one in the car or home or I wear weight gloves for whole work out.
Ok girls give us more helpful hints.

For me if it's a hot day after about hour hiking I get sweaty and it makes friction burns under my armpit. Turn tee shirt inside out,you don't get seam irritation. Or use anti friction stick.
Ok this is not for le but it worked so well for night sweats. Turn a man size wick away tee shirt inside out and put on your pillowcase to absorb hot neck sweat. Drys fast and is ready for next hot flash. Had 40 flashes a day and this was an awesome trick for comfy sleep.
No more sticky bug spray. Send your own cloths to insectshield.com to have cloths repellent dipped. Last 70 washings. Reasonable price. If on budget then get onebig scarf dipped which drapes over entire torso instead of wardrobe pieces. Great for sitting around outside at night.
Cut itchy tag off glove and sleeve and sharpie pen date of purchase on inside of them to keep track of purchase date. Renew datewith sharpie when fades.
Take weight lifting on your trip by using milk jugs, cans, water bottles for weight. Just fill with water. Milk jug is about 8 pounds. Works in a pinch if your not near a gym. Also for travel you can buy Aqua Bells. Which are weights you fill with water. Up to 32 lbs

New gloves driving you crazy due to tightness because there not broken in...put fat highlighter markers in them once they are wet. They stretch out so much more comfy once dry.

I have long hair and my neck sweats like crazy if I sleep with it down. I run the ceiling fan even in winter. At bedtime, I make a ponytail but instead of using elastics I clip it to the top of my head with one of those clamp-type barrettes that looks like a rooster comb. Keeps my neck dry and my hair reasonably straight.

chi. Thx. I bet thats much better than having stringy wet strands of hair suffocating your neck. Great idea!

I shred alot of cheese and slice alot of vegetables. I'
always terrified that I will nick my hand. My LE is in my dominant hand. This is working great and I found it a Big Lots for $20!

I need one of these slicers really bad.

I'm still loving it! I have a salad every night for dinner and cucumbers are my go-to snack. This slicer makes slicing and clean up super easy!
