DCIS with severe muscle spasms

I was diagnosed with DCIS in 2013. I am left with severe spams in my breast and arm. It feels like someone is grabbing and squeezing as hard as possible. I can't move and if I try it gets worse. This will last for 10 minutes then throughout the day. I went to the Oncologist who told me it was in my head. I was told that radiation has no side affects. This troubles me very much as I was made to feel I am the only one in the country with this problem. Has anyone experienced this?
