Expander pain

I am 10 days out from Double Mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. My PS put 535 cc of air in both expanders over the muscle. Under my left breast is a terrible sharp pain pretty much all the time. Anyone know what this is or what to do about it? My post op check up isn't for another 5 days. I sure hope I don't have to live with this till my final implant goes in. There's no way I can take this. Any thoughts or suggestions? Questions I should ask my doc?

    call your doctor’s office. There is no reason to suffer in silence waiting for the next appointment.

    I had pretty severe pain from my expanders, too. I took pain meds for three weeks post op because of it. I also found that my physical therapist's massage really helped alleviate the pain. If you don't have a PT, see if you can find a LANA-certified one to help you.
