Screening Mamm Normal - Continue w/fu at Breast Health Clinic??

Hi Everyone,

In 2016 I had a lumpectomy of a suspicious area in my right breast. The results were negative.

Recently I located a lump in that area and it happened to be at the same time that a screening mammogram was scheduled. After the mammogram an appointment was scheduled at the breast health clinic to see a Dr. & possibly have an ultrasound.

I just received the results of the mammogram online and the results were normal. Great news!!!

Should I keep the appointment at the breast health clinic? Your opinion??

Mammograms don't show everything - that is why the possible ultrasound if you have palpable lump. I'd go to the follow-up.

Yes ..that is great news ! ...if it were me though I would still keep the appointment at the breast clinic like Melissa suggested ..My IDC didn't show on mammogram either ...

Had my appointment at the breast health clinic this afternoon. I am scheduled for an ultrasound on June 13th

Single, solid (hard) lump that has skin puckering ... this waiting for ultrasound is tough ..
