Bloody discharge

Two weeks ago I noticed bloody discharge on the right side during a self exam. It only occurs when expressed. I reported it to my gynecologist. Prolactin level is normal and initial imaging is normal.

I saw the breast surgeon today. An ultrasound at their office showed a dilated duct. They want to recheck in three months. They also stated I should no longer check for discharge during self exam.

They stated this appears to be benign. Should I pursue further even though this is something only occurring with manipulation?

Thanks for any insight.

It sounds like they completed a detailed review. I went in for my left breast that had random pain and when expressed brownish/red discharge. NOTHING has ever been found other than some b9 spots. lol All the cancer was found on the right side....I always say the left was telling on the right. :)

I would have peace, go on with life. :) Keep your f/u appointments and if something changes let them know. Good luck and enjoy the good results!
