I have been clear for nearly 8 years but my routine mammogram showed a suspicious area. So I have had follow up mammogram and ultrasound. I went for the recommended US guided biopsy but the freezing needle hit an artery and it took 45 minutes to stop the bleeding. I had severe bruising and developed a hematoma. They have made three more attempts but cannot see the area clearly because of the hematoma. I had an MRI Friday and now have an area they are also concerned about in my other breast. I know there are a lot of false positives and have been previously been diagnosed with a fibroadenoma in that area many years ago.

So now looking at doing two MRI guided biopsies. Yikes, I just want to get on with treatment if I need it which appears highly likely.
