My family doctor found a few bumps on my breast in my annual check up. Although she said she does not think it is breast cancer she still send me to do ultrasound and mammogram just to be sure. When I go into the imaging clinic they only did ultrasound for me because they said that I'm only 29 I'm too young for mammogram. Few days later I got the result and I really have some little tumors around my breast, so I was sent back to the imaging clinic to do my mammogram. This time around I waited over a month and I have no result. I finally call my family doctor because I want to know what's happening. I find out that the imaging clinic didn't send my family doctor the result. After stressing for a month, i finally find out that my mammogram is negative. But my family doctor finally reveal to me (after the whole month) that the ultrasound shows that i have a suspiois tumor so i have to do my biospy. I gone to the consultation now I'm waiting for the day of my biospy.

I have no symptoms and my period is regular. I know it is most likely not breast cancer. Even if it is breast cancer it shouldn't be late stages. However, the whole process is really stressing me out, and it makes my dad really anxious as well. It's really frustrating that it takes that long for testing. If i really do breast cancer it would have spread all over the place because it takes so long. Anyways i might not have cancer but I got something else which is anxiety. I have few nightmares about breast cancer and dying.

Well, your age is greatly in your favor, less than 2% risk. Of course, the biopsy will reveal what it is, but your chances are very good that this is completely benign. Breast cancer is slow-growing. The waiting drives us all crazy, but a few weeks or months doesnt make much difference with BC. If the anxiety is overtaking you, call your doctor and see if he can give you some medication to help you through. Let us know how things go.
