  • I had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction (implants) done at the same time last July. I have some feeling in my chest but not everywhere but I am still in a lorn of pain and was wondering if this was normal? As i don't have all my sensation back I can't tell what the pain is (if that even makes any sense) sometimes it feels like heavy pressure, other times it's a sharpe pain and then sometimes I knock my chest and it hurts. Just wanting to see if this is normal and should be happening nearly a year after. Any advice please?

This is happening to me and I am 9 years out from 1st mastectomy, 7 years out from other side along with DIEP. I have tightness now that is in chest and abdomen and both wrap around to the back now. I am miserable and wish I could find some help for this.
