dark mark on breast like a bruise. Had it for a year

I am very worried. I have had a dark bruise like mark on my breast which developed from nowhere roughly a year ago. I guess i just brushed it off cause it popped up randomly and i thought it would also disappear by its self... and i just ignored it as time went by. I have no other symptoms apart from when i squeeze my breast i feel a huge lump woobling in there which I'm guessing is the mammary gland.

anyone else who has experienced this before? please help

We are sorry that you are having worries about this change in your breast. Most of our members would suggest that it is best to have a doctor exam any change in your breast and offer a medical opinion. We cannot really tell you what this might be. At the very least being examined by a medical professional could ease the worry of uncertainty. The Mods

Thank you very much, I am summoning the courage to go. My mum just finished her radiotherapy, I am praying this is not yet another cancer blow to the family.
