On my medical chart I read my breast cancer was invasive ductal carcenoma with lobular features. I’ve Googled and researched bu have found little information. My MO said it was treated the same as IDC. Anyone else have this diagnosis?

Yes. Mine was deemed "invasive mammary with ductal and lobular features". Cell formation resembled ductal origin, but e cadherin stain was negative (which is a sign of lobular cancer).

That was from biopsy. I had neoadjuvant chemo and most of it was dead on post surgical pathology, so there was no clarification on the nature of the tumor. I don't think th r is a huge difference between how they treat IDC vs ILC. I heard that ILC responds better to AIs than to Tamoxifen, but I am not sure this is proven by research. I'm on AI become MO thinks they give better results.
