Overwhelmed

Options

Hello! I finished all treatment about a month ago but I'm so overwhelmed. I've been feeling fullness in my upper abdomen for over a month now and have dull pains in my right side that are getting worse. I've been having head pressure, neuropathy, felt a lump in my thigh that my onc insist does not present as carcinoma. My blood pressure has been high. I don't know how to address all these issues and I'm terrified that its METs. I had a CT scan of my abdomen and pelvis Friday and will get results Monday. I'm tired of running to different doctors every week! Any advice?

So sorry you are going through this. Try to remember they have to prove you have a recurrence before you do. May I ask you to make your stats public so we can better answer your questions and support you appropriately. We are all here for you. Good luck and keep us posted...

Chaylu - I’m so sorry you have all this anxiety. I just want to say that I also had ACT chemo and I am also TN. For over 3 months after I finished chemo I had so many bone and muscle pains. My shoulder blade swelled a couple times, my side would ache - My journal is full of my day to day pains and fatigue. It was horrible and one DR told me it wasn’t a reaction to the chemo, but another said it was “highly possible “. All this was from late December 2017 until first week of this April. At that point I started to feel much better.

I’m hoping for clear scans for you and some peace.

    Hugs.

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I notice you got dx'd with another lump after surgery. Did it grow since your first dx or was it not detected the first time? I'm glad you're feeling better.

They believe the lump was there from the beginning, but was directly behind the first and about the same size, so never detected on Mammo, US or MRI
