Implant Too High

I just had my first follow-up with my BS since my mastectomy/direct-to-silicone-implant surgery in January. In the interim, I had six weeks of radiation.

When my surgeon saw my reconstructed breast, she was shocked at how high it was. I thought it was descending as it should, and was probably affected by the radiation, but she looked at it as though it were freakish. "Is this an implant or an expander?" (I thought she would have known...?) She said the plastic surgeon would undoubtedly want to redo it, and maybe lift the other breast to match it as well, but not until after the skin recovers more from radiation. So, more surgery? I'll see what the PS says when I see her at month's end.

And here I had thought things were going pretty well in the reconstruction department (my concerns right now are more focused on upcoming aromatase inhibitors and preventing recurrence). Anyone else have a similar experience?
