Hi everyone. I am new. I am 27yo. I think this whole scare began when I found a lump under my right armpit. I got it checked out and was given antibiotics. It didn't go away, so got a 2nd opinion. The doctor said it was muscle and hesitantly ordered me an ultrasound for peace of mind. Went to the ultrasound appointment a week later, and the radiologist wrote it was a muscle. (This was all in March). Fast forward to now, I have started feeling a bruised feeling on my right breast area, close to the middle. I felt around and noticed that it is uneven. It does not feel like my left breast. This area happens to have a lump. I cannot tell if it is soft or hard as my breasts are very dense and fibrocystic in nature. I went to a different doctor who ordered an ultrasound of both breasts. I've gotta tell you all, I am so scared. No breast cancer in the family history, but there is colon and pancreatic on my father's side. Honestly, I had never paid so much attention to my breasts. My right breast is bigger than the left, and the nipple is slightly different from the left nipple. It seems to pull up a bit. I guess I am aware that while chances are low, there is still potential for it to be cancer. My fear is that I never noticed it there and that it has been at least 2 years or something. Ah, feeling so powerless. I will be sure to update and not disappear regardless of what the outcome is.
