I started getting all my test results back bone scan clear, ct scan good, EKG and echo good. My onco surgeon nurse has call me within 2 days after each test. Today we were laughing that I have come to the point that I am glad that I am triple neg breast cancer grade 3 positive IDC and can get a port next week and begin chemo and not have any of other issues that I have let my imagination run with during the last 1 1/2 weeks. I am blessed to have some amazing doctors and family. I know I have a huge battle ahead with hope and a prayer I will make it.

Your attitude will help you through this, you have to find the positives as you go. Best of luck!

Yay for clear scans! That is HUGE! Once you get started on chemo you should hopefully be able to relax a little, as weird as that sounds.

llupp- What a wonderful perspective you are taking. It's a whole lot of mental practice to get use to all these and find the silver lining. Do you mind me asking the size of your tumor and age?

I was recently diagnosed triple neg IDC grade 3. It's interesting to read about the different steps that are taken by various healthcare providers. I went in for lumpectomy on Wednesday. My onco plans to do PET scan, but thats as far as it goes with imagine. At least the I know of. I'm slated to start chemo in about 3 weeks.

I am 59 my tumor we believe is between 2 and 2 1/2 Grade 3 IDC . We will know more Tues. I have an appt with the onco doc. My port will be install on the May 7th and chemo will start the next day. My course of treatment as of now is 4-8 weeks of chemo 4 weeks off surgery what to be determine 4 weeks off then 4-6 weeks of radiation and then maybe clean up chemo depending on numbers. I told doctors I wanted to be aggressive . May you have many blessings.
