CEA markers up. What does it mean?

Hello folks,

I did 3 cancer markers tests. 2 came back normal and the CEA one came back more. range was 0-4.7. Mine reads 10.5. My onc did not reach out to me about the readings. But I went ahead to schedule a meeting with him this afternoon. I believe it means I have active cancer somewhere, even though my CT scan came back with nothing. Anyone able to share anything about CEA?
