Why after giving FFP's below chest entire body swollen

My wife was having seviour abdominal pain from a month. Doctors conducted biopsy and other reports, till 7 days from biopsy no any medicines given by doctors neither she was hospitalised by Tata Memorial Hospital. On 7th day when she could not able to breath properly, she was admitted and started with oxygen and started giving 6 No's of FFP's. After these FFP's her conditions was started deterioting and her entire body below chest to legs was swollen and she become 5 to 6 times heavier. Can some one tell me why this had happened? My wife detected with multiple liver metastasis breast cancer. She was having fluid inside her abdominal as per her tomography was also not removed by the doctors.

After this her situations after the biopsy they confirmed that she was having invasive breast cancer. And further told me that if they will give her chemotherapy my wife's situation is going to be more veraed and deteriote. And asked me take decision and told me take her to home and start with palative treatment at home

One doctor on 1st day of checking even told me that no any patient comes so.late. I am still not able to understand his remark whether he was not willing do any treatment or the case was not having any hope for them.

Can some body help me above things happened with us ? Is this case of negligece?

Dipangi, we are terribly sorry to hear all that you and your wife are going through. From what you are saying, it sounds like your wife's cancer wasn't detected until it had metastasized, and she had symptoms from the spread of the cancer. Had your wife had any mammograms? Or any ultrasounds before all of this? Did she have any symptoms in her breasts like lump(s), bleeding nipple, etc?

It is very difficult for us to tell what is negligence. What does the treatment doctors want to do, chemotherapy or palliative care?

We truly hope you and your wife get some answers, and some discomfort relief for your wife.
