A month ago I had an abnormal mamo. A biopsy was recommended for an area of concern about 5cm. I had a biopsy two years ago for AD that came back benign.

This time the concern was for possible radial scar/ scelerosing lesion. The I think it is called core? biopsy came back benign. I am very thankful for this. The diagnosis is scelerosing lesion, PASH, cysts. An excision biopsy was recommended. I had my lumpectomy April 12. I was told that there is a small chance cancer could still be found. I have read between 10-30% with radial scars come back positive fo cancer. I am waiting for the results from the lumpectomy. I am wondering if your chances increase if you have multiple benign conditions. I feel bad even feeling stressed as others on here are in far more dire situations. While I was assured if anything was found it would be easily treatable. I still find myself very stressed over all of this. I thought I would feel better after the surgery.
