Tamoxifen BEFORE Surgery

Hi all,
I was diagnosed late January/early February. Er/Pr + Her2- IDC and DCIS.
Looks like stage 2 grade 3
My Ki67 score was 40
My breast surgeon had me take Tamoxifen for a little over 3 weeks BEFORE surgery (bilateral mastectomy). She has found that the medication sometimes lowers the Ki67 score.
I had my surgery April 4th. She was right! My Ki67 score went from 40 to 14!!! In just 3 weeks too. I don’t know if it really matters now (as my cancer is in the trash can where it belongs) but I will keep it in the back of my mind when I have a leg cramp or weird SE from the Tamoxifen.
This stuff really works!!
Just thought others might be interested or has done the same.
