Taking Anastrozole and not yet premenopausal

Hi everyone,
So my doctor just started my on this hormonal chemo after doing 1 year of herceptin. I have concerns because I am reading that only menopausal and post should take this as it stimulates estrogen in the ovaries. My doctor knows I still have my period (I’m 34)and never did any blood work to determine otherwise. Is anyone in my boat and taking this pill although you are not premenopausal yet? Also, it’s not even been a week and I am gettinf bad side effects - dizzy spells, moodiness, insomnia. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

If your ovaries are not being suppressed and you are pre menopausal the anastrozole will not work. It doesn't block estrogen from ovaries. Call your doctor. Doesn't make sense.
