Revision Surgery for "Dog Ear" on the inner side of the scar

I went for my six month check up and I was concerned about a dog ear toward the inner side of the scar and a few bumpy areas and puckered areas - she said she can fix it with surgery, but I may loose range of motion in my arm and it would be permanent and I would need general anesthesia and may have a drink again - I scheduled it but am having second thoughts.

I haven't had a prosthetic yet and am wondering if I 1) can get one with a dog ear in the inner side of the scar and if it would help to have a prosthetic fitting over it would make it feel better?

I have a very hard time with anesthesia and have had two life threatening experiences with anesthesia. I asked if it could be done with a local and she said no.

I am seriously considering not having it done and cancelling the surgery.

Does anyone have experience with an inner side dog ear and getting a prosthetic with a dog ear or revision surgery, leaving you with less range of motion as the doc suggested.

Confused

Thank you
