So I had a 3D mammo 2 weeks ago and they found a cluster of classifications in my left breast. They sent me to for another mammo and a MRI with contrast. The dr told me the second mammo looked better and that it was probably benign, but wouldn’t be sure until they had results from MRI. The MRI came back with abnormal tissue on the right side. I am scheduled for an ultrasound in the next few days. How worried should I be? I am 40 and my mom and maternal aunt both have had breast cancer. HER
