Anastrozole and blood sugar

Hello, if anyone is taking anastrozole do you know if it can affect your blood sugar level. I started taking it this past September and my blood sugar has gone up significantly and it was never high before.

I’m T2, on insulin. Was on the pill 4 years, never noticed an increase in bg.If you are, suggest calling your endo for advise or med tweak.

My MO told me Arimidex can affect your blood sugar and your cholesterol.

I have been on Arimadex for a year and a half now. I just had a yearly physical and found out my blood sugar is so elevated that I am pre-diabetic?! I do not have any history of or genetic factors for diabetes.. My cholesterol is also very high, however it has always been on the high side. I’m kind of freaking out about it. I’m glad to know I’m not alone in this reaction to the medicine... thank you

ugh!! It's so annoying and I cant get a straight answer from my oncologist as to whether or not she thinks the high blood sugar is due to the meds. So frustrating.
