I'm 24 and found a lump

Hello everyone. My name is Katelyn, I'm 24 years old and really scared. The day of my period I felt a mass in my right breast about the size of a golf ball to small tangerine, it is moveable, round and when it first popped up it did not hurt at all. I would've noticed it if it was there the day before trust me, so I when I say it popped up quick it really did, and out of no where. I freaked out of course and started my Google search. Well when I found it the date was March 26th, it seemed to shrink down as my period went on but it did not go away after my period. During my ovulation cycle the mass grew more tender and sore, it might be good to add also that I'm a very active runner and run almost everyday. My breast from the outside looks like it always has, no dimples, no discharge or nipple redness, I was born with inverted nipples so I can't really look for that.

The lump was super tender yesterday and hurt sooo bad but the pain today is more tolerable. I'm not taking painkillers for it because I want to feel for changes in pain. I have a gynecologist appointment tomorrow for a breast exam but I'm freaking out and scared and miserable,I just want to know what is happening to me! Has anyone had an experience like this before? I'm lost and the thought of what I'm going to be told tomorrow is terrifying, I just need some support. Thank you everyone in advance

Once present, cancers do not get smaller. Let us know what the ultrasound shows as I predict your doc will order one tomorrow.
