Tamoxifen vs. Arimidex

Is it possible/helpful to stay on Tamoxifen for more than five years (rather than switching to Arimidex)? I'm approaching five years now, and because I have also developed osteoporosis (probably from the chemo), I really don't want to switch to anything that will make my bones worse? Can anyone give me links - or personal experience - about this question?
