Lower back pain when CT and PET scan clear

I started having lower back pain 7-8 weeks ago, a week after my diagnosis, but before my cat scan and pet scan.

I was assuming it would not be cancer since my scans came back clear. I brought it up at my last appointment and now have an mri scheduled for next week. I am back in the worry game. We found degenerative disc disease in my neck after I had tingly hands during AC chemo, so it is possible the degenerative disc disease in in my lower back too.

I’m wondering if anyone has had bone mets that were causing physicalsymptoms, but not picked up on CT or PET scans.
