Round 3/6: Completely Different side effects

Hello ladies! Just looking for any thoughts or advice. As soon as I think that I have things figured out, I get thrown for a loop again.

My first 2 rounds were quite rough, and the worst part has been the diarrhea. I had my 3rd round a full week ago, and am so confused, because I haven't had ANY diarrhea this round AT ALL.

Instead, I have signs of anemia: rapid heart rate, dizziness, etc. Now last night I woke up because my nose was bleeding EVERYWHERE, and it took 2 hours to stop. I'm an emotional wreck all of the sudden, as well.

Anyone else have a completely new set of side effects halfway through treatment, or should I be concerned?

Oh yes. Unfortunately it can change at any time.

You may be dehydrated....those are all signs. Call your onco and tell them you need to be seen. I know we all hate to do it, but better to not take any chances. Canny check your blood pressure?

I had lots of nose bleeds but none that lasted 2 hours. If you bled heavily thst whole tine you could be low. Better be see

I agree - the dizziness and fast heart rate can be signs of anemia or of dehydration.

I had some nose bleeds during chemo, including one that was pretty bad. I was worried that maybe my platelets were low, but I think it was the lack of nose hair adding to dryness in the nose and the drip from Herceptin.

And the emotional aspect is pretty common. It's hard to trudge along and sometimes it just catches up to you.

I would let your MO know about your symptoms and be good to yourself!
