Could it be Inflammatory Brest Cancer??

Hello All,

I worry and I worry a lot. I have had a spot on my breast that is red and sometimes purple for over a year and a half. There are no other signs but that.

I have had ultrasounds and a mammogram everything is negative. I found a lump on my breast and they did a needle biopsy. There was fluid on there and they instantly said it was just a cyst.

My dermatologist did a biopsy on my skin. Should be back Monday.

I worry that it could be IBC. Has anyone ever had this skin problem on their breast?

You would a lot more than a spot if you had IBC for a year and a half. Additionally, the average age of onset is 60. Hopefully your dermatologist will allay your worries.

I know when you research breast rash that IBC comes up, but it spreads very, very quickly. Hoping you get answers soon.
