Pulling sensation

I had felt a mild pulling sensation in my right breast about a week before my mom unexpectedly told me she had breast cancer. She said her first indicator was a pulling sensation and my stomach dropped a little bit, although my biggest concerns were/are with her right now. The pulling sensations and other weird sensations returned but more so, and I thought maybe they were sympathy pains or I was imagining them. The pulling sensation is definitely still there and is worse- I know I’m not imagining it. I do have a 13 month old that is not walking yet and wants to be carried around, but I carry her on my left arm- the opposite of the pulling. My mom was 61 at diagnosis and I only just turned 33. But I’m worried. And I feel guilty for being worried about myself when she’s only in the midst of this process. Wondering if anyone has advice.

Meg, i have never heard anyone say they had a pulling sensation in their breast, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. I'm sure everything is heightened by your mom's diagnosis, too. I'd suggest having things checked out by your GYN. Let us know how it goes.

How is your mom doing? My symptom is also a pulling/tight sensation which has been there for around 4 years. additionally, that breast also looks higher than the other one. i’ve had 2 MRIs and ultrasounds—the latter found a “probably benign” cyst and the mri said no malignanc

I'm happy to hear the MRIs and ultrasounds came back good. My mom is doing ok, we are still in the process of waiting on further test results to determine the course of treatment. Best of luck to you!
