Worried about fibroadenomas

hello, I have never posted before but read numerous threads. Over a year ago I found a breast lump, had an ultrasound which showed a fibroadenoma. A few months later I found another breast lump in the other breast, again had an ultrasound diagnosed as a fibroadenoma. Recently I’ve noticed that the one lump has completely changed shape. Almost as if the lump has split in half with an extension of a bumpy flat lump. I have also found a swollen lymph node ubder my arm and the armpit appear swollen. Biopsies were necer taken due to my age, I am 23. I have an appointment weds afternoon but am going out of my mind with worry

Jessmum..I can understand how you must be feeling ...You are very young so the chance of this being cancer is very slim .Having said that it's good that you have made an appointment .If you were my daughter I'd advise you to insist on a biopsy this time ,so you can put your mind to rest .

Try to keep busy , and do things you enjoy to keep your mind off it as much as possible until your appointment.
