ILC and nodes - STAGE II?

I have a question. Is it possible to have 7positive nodes of 17 and to be stage II?? My surgeon told me so. is someone else with same staging? I particularly asked him if he meant IIIA and said no... don't know:/ maybe didn't want to panic m

After looking at the staging link on this site, it says 4 - 9 lymph nodes is stage 3, but they have just come out with new staging guidelines so I would ask your oncologist to explain. Either way, what matters more than your stage is your particular tumor biology. I see that your surgeon staged you when I believe it should be your oncologist going over that information with you.

you are right tomorrow I ll ask my onc but also the dr, he said something about the new staging for 201

I was stage II and had 6 + nodes. It was on the complete pathology report.

my onc said I m IIA with the 2018 guidelines

Great, I am excited about the new staging, even if it is just a psychological lift (for me). I am now stage 1 even though my tumor was 2.5 cm. Thanks for letting us know that oncologists are now using the new staging.

I believe too its a phycologycal lift, I can only say that I have good doctors and pray a lot and and of course to make each day worth. As I see things staging is only ONE of the things that matter on how cancer moves

Sometimes it IS about the #s. When I heard 6+ nodes, I was encouraged by my high grade 1 status. I still hang onto that little bit of knowledge, even years later.

I see you had also 12 circles of taxol and tomorrow I m doing my second of 12, how this worked for you?? Will i be able to go to work or it's not possible
