New technology for finding BC! Joinstrive.com

The earlier that breast cancer can be found, the better the chance of survival. The STRIVE Study will test an exciting new technology that finds in the blood small pieces of genetic material arising from cancers. To understand if this test will detect cancer at its earliest stages, we need 120,000 women to donate blood samples at the time of their mammogram.

The study is open to women receiving screening mammograms at Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Sarah Cannon, Scottsdale Medical Imaging (SMIL), and Sutter Health. Participation is convenient and involves about 30 minutes of your time: giving a blood sample at the same visit as your mammogram and completing a short questionnaire. In appreciation for your time, you will receive a gift valued at $25. When you email one of the centers, you will be sent an invitation to participate whenever you have your regular mammogram. Women who have had breast cancer can participate.
