Hello, everyone! Just looking for others who have been diagnosed with multifocal triple negative. Currently undergoing 12 weekly Taxol with Carboplatin every third week. I finished dose-dense AC and am planning on having a BMX after chemo. I don't know my stage, either one or two. I'm 37, two beautiful kiddos, wonderful husband. Looking for hope

Hi Beckham2 - I was multifocal, but 2 ER+ Tumors and one TN tumor - lucky me! I go to a top cancer center and my team said that being multifocal doesn’t affect prognosis. I choose to wholeheartedlybelieve this.

Good luck with your remaining treatment!!

I'm also multifocal TNBC. I completed 3 AC treatments and 12 Taxols and my recent MRI showed no evidence of tumors. I'm having a umx on May 2 and I'm hoping for a complete response to chemotherapy so I can skip radiation. My 3 tumors were at 5, 5:30 and 6 on my right breast. The total size of all 3 was a little over 3 cm. My doctors believe I have no node involvement but will test my sentinel node during umx. I wish you the best on your journey and for me, the anger was the hardest to deal with. I know there are no guarantees in life, but cancer is bad luck and it sucks to get a diagnoses when you feel great. A horrible shock, but thankful that treatment has put many people into permanent remission.

I was multi-focal, too. Had bilateral mastectomy last week and received my pathology report two days ago that I received a pCR! All of my tumors vanished! Poof.

I will not need radiation or Xeloda.

I wish the same for you.
