Similar? Stage 2 HER2+/ER+/PR+/PCR/BMX

I'm interested in hearing from those with a similar diagnosis and treatment. I feel like it's almost impossible to find information about those who are triple positive, who did chemo with Herceptin and Perjeta, who had a pCR, who had a BMX. Aside from my issues with not being on hormonal therapy right now (moving towards trying an AI if menopause is confirmed), I feel like I've done everything that was prescribed and then some (BMX was my choice, not required).

Part of me feels like this should be in my rear view mirror. That there was no cancer remaining at the time of surgery and there is essentially no breast tissue remaining now (I realize that they can't get every last cell). How worried should I be about recurrence? How much more should I do? How much damage have I done to my body already? If my residual risk is really small - is it worth doing anything else?

Who out there went through the same things? How long ago? What kind of hormonal therapy? What kind of surveillance afterwards? Any recurrence? Any suggestions?

    Hi,

I have your stats, although 2B. I think it’s impor to note that b.c. does its own thing regardless of characteristics sometimes. Sadly, I have seen women Stage 1 W no node involvement end up with Mets. Yes, there are general trends, but there are also outliers. We could be the outliers that’s prove all the stats wrong😊

I am now done with everything else, but started Nerlynx at the beginning of the month.

    Best wishes to you

Wow - you've had a lot of treatment! I was looking at your stats and wondering why with DCIS only. I guess it wasn't only DCIS?

Why did you need the all the nodes removed if none were positive? Or the radiation? Were they known or suspected to be positive before surgery?

I thought I'd had a lot of stuff and was so done with it. I've contemplated Nerlynx, but my doctors haven't discussed it. And I'm currently not on any type of hormonal therapy while they decide what to try next.
