Paleo Girls & Boys wanted
Hi all!
Show of hands please for any and all Paleo folks out there. I’d like to start a thread on this lifestyle and wondered if there were enough interested members to even bother.
Cheers

I am close to Paleo. I am doing anti-inflammatory diet per my rheumatologist (no wheat, barley, rye, corn, soy, peanuts) + it has to be ok with weight watchers and no pork, no seafood. I have been doing it since October of last year, but it gets me out of pain. I have gotten used to it for the most part, but would be nice to find new edible recipes.

Alice thank you for responding! Very happy to see you’re getting pain relief! Are you following AIP or FODMAP with your diet as well?
I’m about 98% Paleo...closer to Primal...I just passed the 3 year point, and have had astounding results..no more acid reflux, pan ulcerative colitis gone to the point that Gastro doc referred me back to my GP, tamoxifen side effects cut to almost nothing, lost 56 lbs to date...so I’m loving it.
As for the food I have A TON of recipes from easy/quick to difficult/why did I even start this recipe! If you’re looking for anything in particular or just general stuff please shout out...I’d be more than happy to post

Egads, wow 3 years and great results and 56 lbs weight loss! I was very skeptical at first, but after a couple of months and no pain, I had to admit it was helping me.
And yes, I lost some weight. Like 10 lbs, but I was close to goal of 140lbs (per my doctor)
I would love to get some slow cooker recipes! I leave my slow cooker on in the morning and I come home to hot dinner. Would be great to have something kid friendly too, not spicy. So, like one pot, or chicken, beef, lamb. I have gotten used to just pouring some sauce over the chicken/meat and leaving it on to do the cooking for me, but now I have to be mindful what's in that bottle. And I am a foodie on top of that! I have already given up so many things. I bought a cookbook for this and so far has not been able to make a single recipe. Yes, it is food, it can be put in the mouth, Just does not sound appealing, like I am reluctant to eat flax seeds, chia seeds. I don't do juicing and shakes. I did my research on that and it is not healthy in my book.
What's FODMAP, AIP?
I know some people also don't do any dairy or eggs. No difference for me, I am mindful of how much dairy. But I need some milk in my morning coffee. I eat an occasional yogurt and I eat cheese. I limit grains. I am not a big fan anyways. I am like really into meat, vegetable and fruits.
And sweets...I am fighting them.
