TUMERIC to relieve chemo toxicity

I was wondering if any MO's commented on taking Tumeric during Chemo.

    It is known that supplements (and especially antioxidants) impact the efficacy of chemo, and hence, should not be used during a chemo regimen.

    I was told to avoid supplements during treatment but saw a nutritionist post and she recommended 1000-1500mg Tumeric daily. I really feel in conjunction with a few other vitamins helped my body recover. Organic India brand on Amazon is greatbut you need to take it with a black pepper supplement for max effectiveness - Bioperine.

    Hi! I am new here and have been learning a lot from all your sharings of experiences. We have few online support groups/ communities for breast ca in the Philippines but so much thankful to have found this site.

    Anyway, my mom's Onco told just today, that turmeric is not good when taken along with chemo. It will do harm on your liver.
