Looking for a Chinese Herbalist in NYC. Recs?

Hello ladies :)

I've been looking for a Chinese Herbalist for quite a while now and have not managed to find one that either seems trustworthy or that I can afford. I'm in NYC and the prices seem crazy to me. I've found some herbalist that charge $30 a consult and sell you different herbs or others that charge $500 per consult and sell you their proprietary herbs ($150-200) which only last a month and then you have to go back for another $350 consult and buy more herbs. Wondering how the people who are using Chinese Herbs found their herbalist and if anyone knows of a good one in NYC? I’m a bit scared of getting one of the cheaper ones from Yelp as most people reviewing do not mention having cancer/BC but other “simpler” ailments.Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows of someone they can rec :)

    There is a Chinese acupuncturist in South Salem NY---take Metro North to Katonah---and his assistant is an herbalist. they are quite reasonable. I have not been for 6 or 7 yrs though. I have to think of his name.
