Interrupting hormone therapy

Options

Just wondering if anyone knows of any trials or researchof people who were ER+, given hormone therapy and interrupted with the aim to go back on. Do the stats show a negative effect?

I know there is always the 5 year benchmark of how long to take hormone therapy, but what about interrupting at years 3 or 4, does it make much of a difference to survival oroutcome?

I would be interested to find out more about this.  I have interrupted treatment several times to see if pain would disappear, but it was only in 1 or 3 month increments.  I would ask your oncologist about this.
