Waiting for results!

Just got home for my mammogram guided stereotactic biopsy. It was for the calcification, the radiologist told me that it’s about four or five (In a cluster) of them and 3mm long. She said what’s the point of having you come back in six months for another mammogram, that’s why we are doing this today so you know for sure. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It was a little uncomfortable at the end, I felt like I couldn’t breathe because I couldn’t take deep breathes because I was against the machine. Then I had a sonogram guided biopsy for my 6mm oval obscured circumscribed hypoechoic mass. This was easy and went smooth.... she took three “pieces” said she wanted to make sure she had enough for the pathologist. I’m not in pain yet and took Tylenol so when the lidocaine wears off it won’t hurt too much.

Just saw this after replying to your comment in my post...I’m always behind!! You did it and I bet your on point makeup was perfect! Time to put up your feet, selfishly care for yourself and hang in there for the results. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a great outcome. I got my results back in less 24 hours. It's benign! I have to go back in six months for mammo/ultrasound. Much luck to you this Thursday!

Fantastic news! I agree that this gives us all a great boost. I am waiting my MRI results and hope to report back with great news as well!!! Go do something fun and celebrate
