Just curious.  Has anyone had conflicting path reports.  My biopsy showed 90% ER positive.  After surgical removal of tumor showed Triple Negative.

I'm in the same boat as you. My report completely flipped. Now I'm doing xeloda chemo pills, have 4 rounds left. And getting hormone pills as well. On Lupron and aridmex. So my onco told me they are treating my original diagnosis but still sorry about triple negative from surgery.

    Ohstatefan24-

We want to welcome you to BCO! We're glad you've found our community, and hope it can be a source if support for you as you continue with your treatment. We understand it can be a whirlwind to get such a different diagnosis after surgery, but we hope your treatment is going well!

My initial needle biopsy was TN. Surgical pathology was 8% ER+. That was in 2010. I had recurrence (metastasis) in Feb of 2017 and... TN!

I'm so sorry to hear what you went thru.  But I guess there is no guarantee with this TN stuff.  How did you get thru all of that chemo.  I go to the MO today to find out what my next step is for treatment.  I am so nervous.  I haven't had the BRCA test yet.

    Many hugs.

What a journey we are on.  This TN stuff from what I can see is not an easy road.  I go to my MO today to see what they suggest as treatment.  I am so scared.

    How are you doing?
