edited March 2018 in Benign Breast Conditions

Long story short, I found a lump in my right breast two years ago. I noticed it after my son was a year old. I breastfed him until he was 9 months. Had an ultrasound and was told it was a clogged milk duct. 2 years later now, I had it checked again in November of 2017. Ultrasound again and was told it was a solid mass and in fact wasn't a clogged duct. They said it has shrunk since 2 years ago but I feel it has actually gotten bigger and now has become fixated to the tissue around it and becoming way less mobile. It has never hurt and still doesn't. I can feel it and when I lay down on my left side, you can see it. It has become "uncomfortable" I guess you could say. My armpit is tender, I've been feeling very itchy near the lump, bad shoulder pain, and almost like an electrical shock to my nipple at times. It almost feels as if something is tugging on the tissue near the lump. Also feels like it has created the tissue around the lump to sink in. I also feel that my breast in leaking but I see nothing come out. I have never had a mammo as I am only 27 so they felt it was not necessary. Also have yet to have a biopsy. I have a follow up in May. My question is, should I get a second opinion and go to a breast specialist and demand a biopsy? I just don't feel right. I feel in my gut they are missing something. I have breast cancer in my family and other cancers that run in my family line. Im just not being taken seriously due to my age and seem to just be getting brushed off. I know my chances of it being breast cancer are very slim, but something is definitely going on because my symptoms are only getting worse. Please help with any feedback!
