Reduction post lumpectomy complicate delivery of radiation?

Hi. I had a lumpectomy earlier this week. I was planning on going on the a bilateral reduction as soon as my BS tells me she got clean margins on the tissue she removed. I will also need whole breast radiation + boosts to the tumor bed.

I am starting to worry that the reduction will compromise the radiation therapy.

When I met with the RO for the first time a couple of weeks ago she mentioned that the PS may rearrange the breast tissue during the reduction. This will make it difficult to impossible for her to pinpoint the exact area that was my tumor bed - where she wants to direct the boosts.

I asked my BS just before surgery about this. She hadn't spoken with the RO about this, but said she'd been planning on putting extra clips to mark the area of the tissue she removed.

I don't see my doctors until next week and wanted to ask you generous people on these boards in the mean time:

Have you had any experience with getting a reduction to an irradiated breast? If so were there complications? How long did you wait after radiation was over?

Have you had experience with getting the reduction BEFORE radiation? Did your RO raise any issue about the target tissue having been "rearranged"?

I'm also going to post this in the surgery thread.... not quite sure where it belongs. Mods, please remove the double post if it breaks any rules. Not my intention.

THANK YOU!
