Worried. Lump in Armpit and new small bump beside it

Hi everyone, 

I am 47 peri-menopausal female. I went to doctor last week because I had noticed a hard lump deep  in my armpit. It wasn't really sore but when I pressed on it, it seemed like it was pressing on a nerve because I could feel sensation in my arm.  Anyway, I did warm compresses to see if that reduced the size but it did not.  The doctor I went to was a surgical specialist in breast. I had to see her before when I had a dense section on my mammogram. Turned out normal then. Anyway, she felt it and said it was cyst on my muscle (like burcystis?), not to worry.

Well today, I feel the area and it feels like a very tiny lump/bump beside it. I am on my cycle this week but still, I am very worried. Anyone have a similar experience?
