Should I be concerned?

I noticed my left breast felt and appeared somewhat larger than the right one. This is not normal for me. I am not on my period (2nd period missed, not pregnant) It feels heavier (heavier on my chest than the right breast if that makes sense) I noticed this Sunday.

Monday it hadn't changed. I felt my breast amd didn't find any lumps. I found what looks like a scabby pimple or irritated bit of my breast. Red in color.

Tuesday (today) the left breast ia still larger and heaver. No change in sore on breast. Nipple is dry and irritated. Other nipple on right breast is fine.

Google has freaked me out. My mom died of a rare cancer at the age of 48 so I do worry about cancer in general. I'm tracking the changes.

When do I become concerned? When should I call the dr if at all?

Also I am not breast feeding or sexually active.

Thanks in advance.

I would get an appointment with your doctor immediately. It is difficult to diagnose anything without imaging and multiple tests. Not to scare you, but I did not have a lump, my breast just became thicker. My OB/Gyn said let's get a mammogram which showed something. Nothing showed on the ultrasound, and little on the MRI. However, a biopsy confirmed what the mammogram was showing. Sometimes other imaging shows it. but not a mammogram. You have to be your own advocate. I would not wait, and ask for multiple tests to cover all the bases. Actually, don't just ask, insist. It is better to err on the side of caution sooner rather than later.
