Wellness Basket?

Hello,

My local church community wants to put together a wellness basket for me. They are asking me for specific items I would like in the basket. I am at a loss as to where to begin. I had surgery 4 weeks ago and will begin radiation in a couple of weeks. I would really love to hear from others about what they found most helpful -- specifically any items/supplements/herbs/wellness products (even those that can be considered personal care, or pampering). I appreciate any input. (The woman putting the basket together works in a natural food store.)

Funny, I kind of liken this to the baby registry I had for my first child. I didn't even know where to begin, or what might be helpful. So, thank you for any suggestions you can offer!

Lavender oil to put on a handkerchief and tuck into your purse or in your pillowcase. Maybe a handkerchief for the lavender oil too.

Do you listen to music? An iTunes gift card, for some new tunes during rads treatments. Nicely distracting.

Your own "mammography" gown (search Amazon), soft fabric, to wear during rads. It's much more comfortable and less dehumanizing than wearing their stuff.
